Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan has been approached for a pivotal comedic role in an upcoming big-budget entertainer starring Sidharth Malhotra. The film is being produced by Mahaveer Jain and directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa, known for his work on Dream Girl (2019).

According to sources, the character envisioned for Aamir Khan is both hilarious and significant to the storyline. Producer Mahaveer Jain and director Raaj Shaandilyaa believe that Khan's unique acting prowess would bring depth and humor to the role. They have approached the actor, who has expressed interest in the project.

However, Aamir Khan has requested to hear the full narration after the release of his upcoming film, Sitaare Zameen Par, slated for June 20, 2025. He wishes to focus entirely on his current project before committing to new ventures. Post-release, he intends to consider the new role and make a decision.

The film, which is yet to be titled, is scheduled to commence shooting in September 2025. The script is penned by Sanjeev, and co-produced by Mrighdeep Singh Lamba, known for the Fukrey series. The team aims to create a high-concept comedy with franchise potential.

Casting for the female lead is currently underway, with actresses Ananya Panday and Sreeleela reportedly in discussions for the role. If Aamir Khan joins the cast, it would mark a notable return to comedy for the actor, offering audiences a chance to see him in a fresh and entertaining avatar.
